Hamilton Lodge Belalp is a boutique alpine hotel and restaurant on the car-free Belalp plateau, in the heart of the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage region. Couples celebrate their weddings with us in both the summer and winter seasons, and our team is here to guide you through every step.
Many couples choose to have an outdoor wedding ceremony on the Alpine meadows of Belalp. Just a short walk from the hotel, the historic chapel of Kapelle Bel provides a setting for religious wedding ceremonies.
Our restaurant and catering team can host celebrations of up to 110 guests, with customised menus, apéritifs, drinks and late-night options.
The Lodge offers 19 guest rooms, including double and family rooms, accommodating up to 65 guests. All rooms feature king beds and en suite bathrooms, and many include private balconies.
Couples reserve the entire Lodge, including the hotel, restaurant and indoor and outdoor spaces, to fully enjoy this special occasion in a relaxed and intimate setting.
We are happy to assist with logistics before and during your wedding, including the transport of luggage, decorations, and other event materials.
Whether you envision a summer celebration or a winter wedding surrounded by snow, the Lodge offers a memorable setting in every season. As winter weekend availability is limited, we recommend enquiring early.
During your celebration our dedicated staff is on hand to coordinate every detail so that you can focus on what matters most — celebrating with your closest friends and family.
As the evening unfolds, the celebration continues with music and dancing. We transform the space into a dance floor, while our bar and team remain at your service, allowing you and your guests to celebrate together late into the night.
The Lodge features a tranquil spa area with Finnish sauna, bio sauna, cold plunge, wood-fired hot tub and whirlpool.
On request the spa can be reserved exclusively for wedding guests, or it remains closed during events to ensure an undisturbed atmosphere.
Officiants, musicians, florists, photographers and hair or make-up artists are generally organised directly by the bridal couple. We are happy to recommend trusted local partners.
Hamilton Lodge is located on the car-free Belalp plateau and can only be reached by cable car. Parking is available in Blatten bei Naters.
An extensive selection of wines, beers, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages is available for your event. We will be delighted to advise you on pairings and customise the beverage service for your celebration.
